Dyamusan, also known as Dyamus, was the fourth child and third son of Emperor Olwyt Ignato and the only son to survive him. His elder sister Syana succeeded to the throne ahead of him, although he was later to become Khan of Woodwind, the last Ignato to hold that title.
As part of the same period of diplomatic bridge-building between east and west that saw his sister Syana wed Korath of Ashenia, he married Alice of Bordeux in 381, but their marriage was to be less happy. They had no children and during the Salterri attempt to recover Cassia from Bordeux, with which the Ignato Empire was seen to be assisting, he was imprisoned in Bordeux. He was divorced from Alice and she remarried, while during captivity he fathered an illegitimate daughter, Miranda Rien, who he was denied the right to visit.
After the end of the war he was deported back to the Ignato Empire and prevented from returning, for which he never forgave either the Bordeusi or Empress Syana. He eventually remarried Zaafarani Vasanta, a Triumviral senator, by whom he had one son, Kilwen. He outlived his sister by nearly twenty years, living long enough to see Zhuang's deposition, her abdication and the end of the Ignato Empire.
