EMPIRE![]

EMPIRE! is a world-building game of gods, kings and adventurers. In this game, you play the ruler and government of a country, initially spanning one region but possibly expanding to more. Once the ruler dies, you play their heir and so on, continuing on the family legacy. You scheme, discover and conquer your way towards becoming the most-remembered nation in history. Respected, loved, feared.

Best beware if you want to ensure your legacy.

The Worlds of EMPIRE![]

There have been eight Empire games, each set in different worlds. Each game typically involves updated rules and introduction of new mechanics from its predecessor, though Empire! 6.5 used mostly unchanged rules from Empire! 6 and so is not treated as a new iteration of Empire! in of itself.

Empire! 8: The Planets of Tekhum is currently on-going.

The first Empire! game was set on a world named Telluris.

The second Empire! game took place on a world called Arandi.

The fourth Empire! game was set on the continent of Emjata.

The fifth Empire! game was set in space in the galaxy of Axiom, and players controlled planets and planetary systems.

The sixth Empire! game was set on the continents of Kiswa, Sikar, Mamut, Tarandi, and Daezirn.

The sixth and halfth Empire! game was set on ...?

The seventh Empire! game was set on an unnamed (?) underwater world.
