Whisper (b. 323— d. 394) was a Shaman of the Wild. She was a large Islander woman. She spoke little, but her words carried great weight, hence her name. She pushed hard on spiritual matters, trying to keep her faith in power in the Jeweled Cities. She saw trade & expansion as a violation of ancient practices. She also resented the loss of the Shamans’ power that the lumber agreement with Scla’ca represented. Jonas had to egotiate with many lands to allow shaman scholars to travel freely to appease her. She died in 394 of nautral causes.
