Zuìdà-Wěi Fēiyàn was the daughter of the pretender Qzare Zuida Rongyao, born to him in the year of his death in 436, and possibly posthumously.

During the conquest of Salteire during the Wars of the Mandate, the infant Fēiyàn and her brother Héping were evacuated to Bordeux to ensure their safety. After the Priory's defeat, the infant Zuidas fell into international obscurity.

Lotus Murders[]

In 491, Tzaltec and Niskovian agents seeking the party responsible for the Lotus Murders, which saw the deaths of more than forty members of the house of Li, uncovered evidence suggesting that Fēiyàn was the sponsor behind them. According the the investigators she amassed a significant amount of power to herself first in Ri Chugang and then in Malkavan, acquiring money and resources from non-legal and highly unofficial channels before returning to the Imperium and hiring an assortment of mercenaries, Ascensionist fanatics, and Zuida loyalists to carry out a massacre on the Li dynasty.

By all accounts the plot was concocted over the course of three years and was fully intended to eliminate the entire line of Li. The Tzaltec operatives, carrying forward with their known objectives after learning this information, proceeded to track down and eliminate her, finding the elderly woman taking refuge in the wilderness of Penoccident.

In the wake of this revenge killing that they were forced to lay low as the Zuida woman's connections began to search for her killers. Eventually however they escaped and returned home to pass on their information. They suspect without Zuìdà-Wěi Fēiyàn the network she assembled will fall apart or be torn apart by the struggle to fill the power vacuum left behind.[1]
